About Almliebe: A Bavarian Family Story
Our Story is a Story of Family, Fashion, and "Heimatglück" — Homeland Happiness.
If the mountain calls and you cannot go, then we will bring the mountain to you. That is the promise we, sisters Sonja and Stefanie Ragaller, have built our brand upon.
With our Almliebe online store and our two shops in Munich and Pocking, we strive to carry the spirit of the Alpine lifestyle into the city and into the hearts of our customers. For us, the connection to tradition, to heritage, and to home isn't a trend—it's the world we were raised in.
A Legacy of Fashion and Family
We literally grew up under the counter of our parents' fashion house in the small town of Pocking, Lower Bavaria. Our passion for retail is a family legacy that began with our grandmother, Lina Ragaller. As a "Trümmerfrau"—one of the heroic women who rebuilt Germany from the rubble after the war—she took over her in-laws' saddlery.
In the post-war years, with incredible resilience, she sold whatever people needed to rebuild their lives, from furniture and eggs to clothing. It was our father, Klaus, and our mother, Eva, who carried this spirit forward, transforming the business into a highly successful fashion house in the 1970s.
After exploring the world and our own careers, our entrepreneurial genes called us home. In 2012, we realized that our roots were our greatest strength. We opened the first Almliebe store right inside our family's fashion house, creating a lovingly curated world that interprets tradition for a modern age.

At Almliebe, we are not just sellers; we are expert curators. We are deeply connected to the world of Trachten and personally select only the most unique, high-quality dirndls, lederhosen, and accessories from the best Bavarian and Austrian brands—many of which you'll find here, like Gottseidank, Meindl, Wenger, and Hammerschmid.
Alongside these heritage brands, we are proud to design our own exclusive Almliebe collection, made with pride in a small German manufactory.

It embodies a lifestyle shared by those who love live music at folk festivals, who appreciate heritage and craftsmanship, who hike in the mountains and relax by the fire.
